Mitsubishi Service

Fall is all the way back, and with the cold winter months just on the horizon, there are some steps to take to prepare your car for the coming season. Let the team at Ole Ben Franklin Mitsubishi take you through some key Mitsubishi service tasks for fall.

Brakes, Tires, and Lights

The road conditions are about to change, and you’ll need your brakes to be fully functional. Get your brakes and tires checked and serviced.

As you have that done, be sure and check every outside and inside light, test the bulbs, and make sure your headlights, taillights and brake lights are clean.

Wiper Blades, Battery, Oil and Air Filter

If it’s been a dry summer, your wiper blades are likely dull or cracked from disuse. This can severely limit visibility in wet weather, so be sure and replace them.

Check on your battery’s health and clean the contacts. Change your oil and have your air filters replaced as well.

Fluid Changes, A/C and Heater

Have all your engine fluids checked and changed, from transmission fluid to brake fluid. You’ll need to get your air conditioning and heater checked and serviced. Also you’ll want to make sure your winter-tech amenities, such as a heated steering wheel and mirrors, are in working order as well.

Cleaning and Detailing

Finally, give your Mitsubishi a good wash and have it detailed. Think of this task as a symbolic act of moving from one season to the next. Also, once your car is clean, new problems will be easier to spot before they get out of hand.
